Marble Museum

The Civic Marble Museum, founded in 1982, is aimed to preserve all works of local marble culture. Its collection is divided into different sections: Roman Archaeology, Territory History, Marble Library, Industrial Archaeology, Plaster Casts, Modern Sculpture

July and August
from Monday to Saturday 10.00-20.00
Sunday and August 15th 10.30 -12.30 / 17.00-21.00



September
from Monday to Saturday 10.00-18.00
Sunday 10.30-12.30 / 15.00-20.00

Parco della Padula

A park on the outskirts of the city housing a permanent exhibition of environmental works created on the occasion of the Carrara International Sculpture Biennial of 2002, with installations in marble by Anne e Patrick Poirier, Ian Hamiton Finlay, Sol Le Witt, Luigi Mainolfi, Mario Merz, Robert Morris, Claudio Parmiggiani
